Pacific Coast of Olympic National Park

We got up early on Thursday to check out the beach when it was low tide. It was cold but well worth the view. Some brave souls were actually swimming when was so brave b/c I wouldn't even take off my shoes to cross a tide pool!!!




When its low tide you can see many star fish and other sea creatures! It did smell a little bad , like a weird fish smell.


We headed off to Portland where we didn't get to stay long--we were able to check out the downtown area but it was rush hour and the traffic was very crazy so we kinda had to cut and run. We are trying to make it to LA by Monday and we were still at the top of Oregon and had other stops so we decided to put Portland on the list of places to come back to...


On to Crater Lake..
