Day 2: Mammoth Hot Springs

Mammoth Hot Springs area is very charming-it looks like it is a little city. The reason behind this is b/c most
visitors arrived in trains at the north entrance and stayed at the hotel before exploring the park. If you can
afford the peak season prices (suites at the Mammoth Hot Springs go for about $500 a night) it is worth the stay

After grabbing some ice cream. I had the grizzly bear (which was huckleberry) J had Vanilla, we headed to the
Mammoth Hot Springs boardwalk to check out the hot springs.

Leaving Yellowstone Via Gardiner we were able to get our picture and the original entrance of Yellowstone, which
was very cool and very majestic. (I posted that picture yesterday)

We stop at a cute little pizza place called K-Bar and had a very yummy, cheap pizza

We enter back into Yellowstone via the North Gate and head back towards the East Gate which took 2-2 1/2 hours! Crazy!
